For the past 3 years, Jon has worked for Western Governors University as 1 of 2 people in their Contact Center team managing Genesys Cloud. When he started with WGU he helped migrate them off of Pureconnect to Genesys Cloud. He has helped implement a few features to help the students experience. One was a project called Where’s My Money. With the assistance of other Cloud engineers, he created a flow that would use are AWS integration to pull specific information on a student's profile with updated information about their Financial Aid status. Another was an auto verification flow that would do a data dip into Salesforce using DTMF from the student's side to verify the caller before it would get to an agent. The most recent was working with the ServiceNow developers to set up an embeddable framework inside Client Workspace.
