What is Avtex U?
Starting your career can be stressful, and finding that right job after graduation can be difficult. There are a lot of unknowns, and we want to be with you every step of the way to help you get it right. That's why we created Avtex University, a program designed to support and educate recent college graduates as they transition from student to associate consultant.
As part of Avtex U, you have a set onboarding program and technology bootcamp, allowing you to learn the ins and outs of being at Avtex, as well as understanding your role as an associate consultant. Avtex U participants go through a strategic, three-month onboarding process to learn in a safe environment that eliminates the mysteries of starting a new career.
Avtex U participants start their journey at Avtex learning from the best-of-the-best, subject matter experts across the organization. At the same time, they grow relationships with their managers, mentor, Avtex U alumni and fellow Avtex U classmates. Associate Consultants are also given the support and education required to excel in their new role as they grow their technology acumen while building business relationships outside of the organization.
What do you get as an Avtex U participant?
Mentorship: To begin the Avtex U program, each participant is paired with a mentor from within Avtex. Mentors help Avtex U participants grow their relationship skills within a friendly peer dynamic and provide another opportunity for guidance. Mentors are also there to provide insights into the things not covered in the training manual, like company culture, who can help you in specific practice areas and how they personally solved problems or found solutions at the beginning of their career.
Support: Outside of their mentor, Avtex U participants also benefit from starting their time at Avtex with a group of individuals going through the same process. Each cohort of Avtex U members will also have a team around them, including their training coordinator, manager, the program alumni and the guest speakers who are there to answer their questions.
Education: Avtex U is all about getting educated on the Avtex way of consulting. Participants learn about Avtex as a company, consulting as a business, and the role Avtex takes each day to create technology solutions which fuel exceptional customer experiences. Most participants start their first project while in Avtex U, giving them access to the resources and support they need for success.
Networking: Above all else, Avtex U starts consultants off with an extensive network within the company that will be there as they grow and expand their responsibilities. Classmates learn step by step at the same time, forming a community around them that is always available to assist.
