Avtex created a Customer Insights Center of Excellence to ensure our team, with deep Dynamics 365 Apps expertise, was prepared to provide excellent service and scale. This group represented Avtex departments including Sales, Alliances, Delivery, Solution Architects, Marketing, and others to drive awareness, educate the Microsoft field and ultimately drive implementations of CI quickly and broadly.

Avtex Helps Chipotle Expand Its Microsoft Investment with Customer Insights
Chipotle had 7.5 million Chipotle Rewards members and was searching for a customer data platform that would empower them to “activate” 100 million unknown “headless” customers, increase sales by driving new customers to purchase, and influence customers to purchase more. At the time, Chipotle did not have a single view of their customers across their order website, loyalty program, and in-store purchases.
With support from the Microsoft West EOU, Dynamics Customer Advisory Team (CAT) and Avtex senior leadership, we showcased the proprietary third-party enrichment services of Avtex, the unification engine of Customer Insights, and the extendibility of the platform across the Microsoft stack, including Power BI, Power Apps, Azure Synapse, Machine Learning, and AI. Avtex proved we could “activate” 1 out of 3 of Chipotle’s unknown customers, which would have a potential impact of ~$275M in increased revenue per year.

AEP Energy lights up personalized experiences with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights
AEP Energy was the first Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights deal in the US as highlighted by Dina Apostolou during Satya Nadella’s keynote (Ignite 2019). When Avtex engaged AEP, our team had been working directly with the engineering group at Microsoft on early beta offerings. AEP had challenges engaging with their B2B customers due to siloed data sources and a duplicative view of their customers and prospects. This resulted in wasted advertising spend as they consistently sent the same message to the same targets.
Avtex was able to demonstrate how CI could pull these existing data sources together with intelligence, reducing the number of records by over 30%. CI provided a singular view to improve the customer experience of their base, increase overall retention, and better target new customers.
