MINNEAPOLIS, MN – September 9, 2021 – Avtex, a TTEC Digital company, announced today the hiring of Steve Thompson as EVP of Sales. In his most recent role, Steve spent 13 years leading the sales and go-to-market teams at PowerObjects.
Steve joins Avtex with more than 25 years of sales leadership experience and brings a great deal of experience working with Microsoft, having spent most of his career in the Microsoft ecosystem.

Steve ultimately goes back to the beginnings of the Microsoft Dynamics product line having sold, implemented, and supported the V1 of Microsoft CRM, the predecessor to today’s Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement platform. Prior to his time selling and consulting with Dynamics, he held multiple leadership roles with various enterprise resource planning software publishers.
As EVP of Sales, Steve will be responsible for leading the Avtex sales organization and go-to-market effort. Avtex, a Microsoft Gold partner, has invested heavily in the expertise to be able to deliver holistic customer analytics solutions built on Microsoft technology. By leveraging the Microsoft partnership, Steve will lead the team in creating truly innovative, value-driven solutions for clients.
