Client Account Manager (Contact Center) – TX

As a Client Account Manager (CAM) at Avtex, you’re the Face and Voice to our existing Genesys Contact Center customer base.  You’ll proactively reach out to your assigned customers, recognizing and working to resolve any issues they may face, and acting as an escalation point and liaison to broader Avtex.  Since you’re in close, regular contact, you’ll be up to speed with all current and ongoing customer activities.  You’ll partner with assigned clients to identify business challenges and propose Avtex solutions. You build a strong business relationship with our clients, gaining insight into their industry, business, and operations and serving as a trusted advisor.  This increases Avtex’s market share, contributing to the achievement of revenue goals.   An Avtex CAM manages client support escalations, apprises clients of upgrade opportunities and manages client support agreements (CSAs) and renewals.

 

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients gaining insight into their industry, business, and operations and serving as a trusted advisor to key influencers and/or decision makers.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify business challenges & develop recommended solutions through the promotion of Avtex offerings. Works closely with Avtex Sales Engineers & Account Executives to structure solutions, create account plans & identify other cross-selling opportunities within Avtex offerings to achieve identified performance and revenue goals.
  • Schedule and conduct regular client business reviews with key contacts covering updates within the client’s business and key initiatives, delivering product and feature updates on Avtex offerings, reviewing support performance and other client concerns.

CRM Consultant – D.C.

Avtex’s continued business success has created a need to add to our stellar CRM team on the east coast. Our CRM Consultants are the liaison between our customers and our internal teams on Dynamics CRM projects, and will be handling implementations, customizations, migrations and more. This candidate will be responsible for several aspects of the project that may include project management, configuration, business analysis, data, training and support. The CRM Consultant is responsible for meeting the customer requirements and ensuring that the project is completed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage small to medium projects independently
  • Participate in planning and design sessions with customers
  • Work with Business groups to gather and document business needs and processes

Avtex is currently seeking a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Developer in the Sacramento area, adding to our stellar Dynamics practice in northern California.

This position is responsible for software development, maintenance, and quality activities under the supervision of a Team Lead supporting our Dynamics CRM customers in an agile work environment. Activities include requirements reviews, design reviews, estimating work, programming to specifications and guidelines, unit testing, and daily status reporting.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Developer

Avtex is looking for a talented CRM Developer to join our expanding team – a team comprised of highly regarded and recognized developers and integrators of Microsoft technologies and custom applications. We are open to considering candidates based in the Minneapolis area, or those who are based elsewhere and are open to working remotely. As a consultant, you will find “variety is the spice of life” working directly with a multitude of Avtex customers to build custom business applications on top of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform; taking your current development knowledge and experience and expanding across a range of enterprise needs and reaching deeper from a systems integration standpoint. Our experience extending the CRM platform centers on .Net plugins, .Net custom workflows, JavaScript client scripting, HTML5 applications, Silverlight applications, WPF Development, AJAX, and .Net forms/portals. We also develop solutions around CTI and integrating CRM with telephony platforms and develop solutions using the Microsoft CRM Customer Care Accelerator (CCA) or Unified Service Desk (USD) framework. The position will involve work on-site at customer locations across the US at least 25 percent of the time.

As a senior CRM developer you will work with multiple practice areas (internal and external) with the majority of your time focused on consulting and developing custom CRM solutions. You will also have the opportunity to provide technical support during pre-sales engagements and support the generation of project estimates for our customers. Sr. Sales Engineer – Contact Center Technologies

Avtex is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer focusing on Contact Center (Genesys) Solutions serving as the primary technical resource for the field sales force.

Our Sales Engineers (SEs) and are responsible for solution architecture, actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and advocate for our products and services.  SEs present, design, validate, and assist sales staff with quoting hardware, software and services for customers and prospects. Participating in customer sales calls, design meetings, technical discussions, technical research, RFP support, and preparing Scope of Work documents are integral parts of the SE role. In addition to demonstrating technical competence on Avtex product offerings, the ability to prepare for and perform product demonstrations for customers and prospects is required.

The Sales Engineer (SE) focused on Avtex’s Contact Center practice will need to assess customer needs and make recommendations based on understanding the customer requirements, technical aspects and industry trends. In addition, the SE will create detailed, accurate quotes and Proposal/RFP documents and then present and clearly articulate these detailed solutions to the customer and the Avtex team as necessary. The successful Sales Engineer will create ultimate confidence in Avtex’s technologies and solutions. Additionally, SEs are tasked with being public advocates for Avtex and key partner technologies, and are expected to participate in user groups, blogs, conferences and other similar activities.  The SE team covers all Avtex solution areas, including Contact Center and IP telephony technologies, including Genesys Pure Connect; UC technologies including Microsoft Exchange and Lync; CRM solutions focusing on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and custom .NET development; Strategic Consulting engagements, Avtex-produced solutions including managed services, custom software offerings such as Interaction Portal offerings; network and system infrastructure offerings including core systems deployment and network assessments.

Contact Center Tech Support Engineer – Tier 2 – Always Considering

A Contact Center Technical Support Engineer is the focal point for all customer requests for technical support.

Responsibilities
As a Tier 2 Technical Support Engineer, you will work in a team environment and play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by troubleshooting and quickly resolving elevated technical concerns and questions with our call center product, Interactive Intelligence. You will work through incoming Tier 2 requests for support, system down emergencies, errors and triage of hardware, software, network and/or telephony problems including completion and thorough issue documentation using our internal ticketing process and initiation of the internal billing processes. You will effectively provide resolution for issues ranging for issues relatively complex in nature including thorough follow-up support and closure to issues, as well as educating the customer on system capabilities. This support role involves participation in our on-call rotation (about every 6 to 8 weeks), some after hour works (we need to be there when issues need to be dealt with), and some travel can be expected (typically 10 to 25%).

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Expertise 
When it comes to the technical aspects of the role, you will have experience working with Interactive Intelligence software at a Tier 2 level, or can clearly demonstrate that they are ready to move to that level. You are knowledgeable working in/around Windows, networks (LAN/WANS), client server applications and telephony protocols. You have solid working knowledge of networking and Cisco technologies. You can effectively identify system hardware/software problems and confidently provide a remedy. You thrive when it comes to comprehending and working with new and emerging technologies such as VoIP (SIP), LYNC, and Windows Infrastructure.

Field Engineer (Contact Center) – Always Considering

Avtex, 2014 Partner of the Year with Interactive Intelligence, is actively seeking a Field Engineer to add to our talented Contact Center team.  In this role, you’ll be directly responsible for the physical installation of equipment and/or software either remotely or onsite at our customer premise.  Installations may be a new system, an upgrade to an existing system, replacement of defective components, or reloading corrupt software. You’ll work closely with manufacturer support to remedy any ongoing system or software problems and keep patch logs updated.  Additionally, you’ll provide preventative maintenance as required, perform system back-ups, participate in vendor meetings and act as a technical resource to the project manager or sales executive.  Our Field Engineers may serve also as an escalation point for support, either remote or onsite.

Position Details / Responsibilities:
As an Avtex Field Engineer, working with the Interactive Intelligence platform, you’ll assess customer needs and make configuration recommendations. In this role, you will need to understand the scope of the project, integrations, customer requirements etc. Identifying system hardware and/or software problems and proposing solutions; Configuration, installation, and testing of equipment; Performing preventative maintenance; Performing hardware and software upgrade procedures; Providing technical specifications as requested and Conducting system set-up as required are all elements of this role as well.  By understanding system hardware/software, you’ll be able to identify problems and provide a remedy. With your detailed understanding of integrations and computer networks, you’ll be able to interpret customer requests easily and correctly. Since you’re a natural consultant, you’ll easily maintain productive and satisfactory relationships with clients, and you understand the importance of following up on, or resolving, outstanding issues in a timely manner.

Project Manager – Always Considering

As the customer focal point for coordination of system implementations, Avtex Project Managers provide project planning, project management, business analysis & design.  Our Project Managers establish and nurture productive and satisfactory relationships with customers and act as the primary point of contact for the client for all project-related activities.  A successful Project Manager must be able to manage several concurrent projects, possibly with differing technical solutions; they must be a self-starter and work with minimal direction.  Travel and after hours work is required for this position.

Position Requirements:

  • Work closely with Avtex clients to understand their business needs; identifying opportunities to improve their processes and help them meet their business objectives via technology.
  • Create and manage a formal project plan, including: Statement of Work, project timeline, risk management plan, communication plan, change management plan, training plan and resource allocation schedule.
  • Manage the execution of all components of approved project plan, including ongoing risk assessment, coordination and management of all project deliverables and timeline, vendor coordination, development and execution of a test plan, budget control and project cost reporting.

Position Overview:

As the customer focal point for coordination of system implementations, Avtex Project Managers provide project planning, scheduling, resource management, budget management and control, change management, project communication, test and training planning, and coordination and management of design, UAT, go live and post go-live support events. Project-related duties will include client interaction to facilitate definition of business priorities, coordination of necessary documentation (e.g. Solution Design Documentation), defining the test plan and implementing the end results.  They facilitiate additional opportunities within the current customer base by suporting & working with Sales & Practice Managers, and they facilitate increasing the Avtex Referenceable Customer Program. This is a unique role, blending business development and management consulting, specifically in the area of Customer Experience Strategy Development and Design.

Position Responsibilities

As a Senior CX Consultant, you will act as the primary point of contact for our clients during consulting engagements in the very hot CX marketplace! You must be able to seek and develop prospective clients; lead multiple engagements, sometimes simultaneously and understand the strategic impact of an effective customer experience strategy. You’ll establish & nurture relationships with clients before, during and after engagements are complete. Demonstrating your ability to listen to & translate client requirements into meaningful engagements with definable outcomes for both the client and Avtex is second nature for you. Collaborating effectively across other practice areas as needed & in response to identified client needs comes easily to you. You’ll have no issues managing the execution of all components of the CX engagement, including: initiation engagement meetings; contact center optimizations; coordination of other consulting practice engagements; timeline & budget management; regular communication of engagement progress; documentation & approval of any changes to scope, timeline or cost via the change management process; and, communication of project status to interested business partners.

In the Business Development aspects of this role, you’ll be expected to seek & sign consulting engagements for the CX Practice. You’ll identify markets, associations, industries, etc. for viable opportunities to generate CX leads that drive influenced revenue from Avtex’s CX technology solutions. As a Tier II Support Engineer at Avtex, you’ll be part of the Managed Services team acting as the point of interaction for our customers. Each day will bring a variety of activities and you’ll be responsible for architecting and technically implementing computer environments, including servers and workstations. You’ll troubleshoot and resolve customer issues with Web Servers, Database Servers and Clients, all interacting securely. Additional job responsibilities include infrastructure analysis, planning, setup, testing, consulting, documentation, and ongoing support.
